- Dredging will take from mid-May until November
- The river will be dredged from the Becher street bridge down to KK Avenue to a depth of 21 feet in the middle and 11 feet at the banks
- The river will be closed from on or about May 14th for four days to commence operations
- After that the river will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p. m. each day for recreational boats, it will be closed the rest of the time for dredging.
It sounds like it will not be too bad and the advantage of a deep river for spring launch and fall storage should be worth the pain.
