I grew up in the New York City area and did a great deal of business travel and entertaining. When I get to a new place I generally try to find the best resturants - not necessarly the most expensive but the best tasting food. Given my background I have dined in a lot of truly wonderful places. I was surprized to find one of my most memorable dining experiences in Key West. I find myself drawn back again and again to Blue Heaven. My advice, if you only have one evening in Key West make Blue Heaven your dinner destination.
I understand that the Sunday Brunch is excellent, I have yet to make it. I have at this point only one Sunday left before I intend to depart for Mexico, perhaps I will be able to get up in time to enjoy what I understand is a wonderful menu.

You found the best restaurant in Key West! The food is great and it's not a tourist meca, there are usually just as many locals as out of town patrons. A must on any Key West to do list.
